Blue River Station Rebuild Project

In 2020, the Blue River Fire Station was among the losses of so many homes and businesses in the community, uppermckenziefire.com said in a post on its Web site.

“We are so grateful for funding assistance, our building committee, and Pivot Architecture. Through many meetings, visions, and negotiation we were able to put together what we hope the community will be proud of for years to come.

“As we are sure you have noticed, we are relocating and will now be neighbors with Orchid Health Mckenzie River Clinic. This land acquisition allows us not only room for a more complete facility but also for future expansion opportunities. Our priority is to provide service to this community and we hope to be a beacon of hope in the area. We are in this together.”
