Midway Fire District (FL) Plans to Add Two Fire Stations

The Midway Fire District has begun an ambitious plan to double the size of its workforce and add two additional fire stations over the course of the next seven years, reports Pensacola News Journal.

The firefighters currently staff two stations round-the-clock. Nearly two-thirds of all calls the station receives are “double calls,” which means the firefighters are responding to two or more calls at the same time.
