The site plans for two brand new fire stations was unanimously approved by the Jupiter Town Council during a recent meeting, the Jupiter Fire Rescue Department said in a Facebook post.

The new stations will be located on Town-owned property at Cinquez Park and along U.S. 1, for the Jupiter Fire Rescue Department.

The stations are located and designed to provide response times and house resources that will provide excellent levels of service for the entire Jupiter community. In addition, the site plans incorporate landscaping, park features and natural environments that are the result of the surrounding neighborhoods’ inputs.

The Cinquez Park station location was shifted to the southwest corner of the park to provide separation from the popular ficus tree (known as the “Banyan Tree”) located within the park, as well as from the dog park. Both the tree and the dog park, as well as the park’s walking trail and lake will be preserved by the station’s location. Based upon resident feedback, the site plan changes also addressed parking concerns, landscaping enhancements and neighborhood impacts.

“Last night, we were pleased to hold the first meeting of the Fire Rescue Advisory Panel. This group is aimed at allowing us to gain insight and feedback from the residents of Jupiter as we build the department and look to our in-service date of October 1, 2026,” the department said in a Facebook post in June.
