The city of Coppell is excited to announce that construction of Coppell Fire Station No. 5, located at 157 South Moore Road, is underway.

The ceremonial groundbreaking for the new station took place on Tuesday, June 4. The existing structure on the site served as Fire Station No. 2 for many years and was demolished in late May to pave the way for the new station.

The addition of Fire Station No. 5 will allow the Coppell Fire Department to continue to safeguard the lives and property of residents while maintaining the highest level of protection and emergency responsiveness.

Fire Station No. 5 is slated to be operational by summer 2025.
