Baby Dropped At Houston (TX) Fire Station

Firefighters at Houston Fire Department’s Station 21 accepted a baby under Texas’s Safe Haven law, reports KHOU 11.

The baby was taken to a hospital as a precaution, although police say it appears she was unharmed.

The law allows parents who are unable to care for their infant to bring that child to a designated safe place, like a fire station, and leave them with no questions or prosecution.
