Details Emerge on Nicholson (MS) Station Fire

FA reported Wednesday that the Nicholson Volunteer Fire Department suffered damage Monday night to its station, apparatus, and equipment. Well, now new details have emerged regarding its cause.

A report by state and county fire officials says that the fire was caused by a malfunction in one of the station’s fire trucks, reports wlox.com.

Two fire trucks, a brush truck, and other equipment were also damaged in the fire, but officials say there will not be any issues with regards to fire protection.

The fire broke out late Monday night, with a passer-by snapping footage of the flames. Several nearby departments responded, and no injuries were reported.
