The Thorogood Hellfire Hornet

Weinbrenner says it has a new boot, the Thorogood Hellfire Hornet, which combines lightweight athletic-style comfort with the highest structural firefighting bunker boot protection.

The boot features flexible lightweight cushioning through a multi-layered sole, according to the company, and cuts weight without sacrificing protection through an ADVANCE Kevlar/Nomex shaft and a leather shin guard.

The Hellfire Hornet has high-visibility yellow Vibram rubber toe and heel protection, providing better abrasion resistance than leather. Yellow Goodyear storm welt construction is both physically durable and maintains reflectivity over time, the company said.
