The Ergodyne Squids 3100 Black Tool Lanyard got tougher with improvements that more than double the weight rating.

The updated tool lanyard now has a maximum safe working capacity of 10 pounds, according to Ergodyne, which said the capacity is third-party tested and certified to a safety factor of two, meaning it can tether one’s lightest and heaviest tools, reducing the risk of serious injury and loss while increasing productivity.

The company said the Squids 3100 Black Tool Lanyard is ideal for any job where working with tools at heights is a requirement. It features an adjustable barrel lock, an aluminum carabineer, tubular nylon and lock stitching to accommodate and secure almost any tool.
