Sheboygan (WI) FD Welcomes New Rescue-Pumper

The City of Sheboygan Fire Department is pleased to announce the installation of a new engine taking the title of Rescue 1862 and in service as of August 13, 2024, the department said in a Facebook post recently.

This 2024 Pierce Impel PUC rescue-pumper replaces a 2010 pumper that will move to reserve status. Our 26-year-old reserve pumper will be sold.

A special thank you to the citizens of Sheboygan, Common Council, members from the Licensing, Hearings & Public Safety Committee, as well as the Mayor and City Administrator for all their support.
