The Hayti Fire Department recently took delivery of its new custom-built Freightliner tanker.
It replaces an apparatus built in the 1970s, though that had been refurbished a couple of times.
“We have been short a tanker for a few months and have really anticipated the arrival of the new apparatus,” the department writes on Facebook.
