This heavy rescue, delivered to the James City Bruton Volunteer Fire Department, Wiliamsburg, Virginia, is built on a Pierce Velocity cab and chassis. This apparatus is designed for structure fire support on the driver’s side and vehicle extrication on the passenger side. Features include vinyl seats to provide an easier wipe down after a call and a wraparound panel controlling items such as the PTO generator. In the rear of the cab, there is storage space for various rescue equipment, including a designated gasoline compartment for equipment such as chainsaws.
