TNT Rescue Systems has developed a new line of super light auto extrication spreaders.

The new spreader provides the user with the needed force in a super light package, says the maker.

It weighs in at 36.6 pounds, making it the lightest in its class, a reduction of 33 percent from the company’s comparable S-100 series spreaders.

With a maximum opening of 28 inches at the tips, it has a maximum spread force of 29,450 pounds, according to TNT. It measures 30 inches in length, 7 inches in height, and 13.2 inches in width.

The SL-28 spreader is well-balanced for ease of operation, according to the maker, and offers the company’s standard variable control as well as its wrap-around D-handle.

It’s covered by TNT’s comprehensive lifetime warranty and service from the makers extensive customer service network.

TNT Rescue Systems, Inc., located in Ashippun, Wis., began as a vision of owner Tom Blanton.
