IN THE NEWS: Foster Rescue Trailers Delivered To Okla.

Oklahoma Department of Homeland Security has taken delivery of eight Foster Rescue Products Technical Rescue Trailers for disaster management. The trailers will be distributed around the state for rapid disaster deployment.

The trailers are powered by Lombardini 44 hp diesel engines and Getec 20,000-watt generators. Two hydraulic reels each, Holmatro pumps and four Holmatro Core Technology tools provide extrication capability.

They each have two utility compressed air reels, and two 26-ton Vetter airbags. Electrical power distribution is accomplished by a 110V/220V reel and multiple trailer body outlets.

A 7.5 cfm 5,000 psi American Airworks breathing air compressor, four ASME tanks, and an Eagle Sidewinder two-position SCBA refill station offer complete breathing air support.

Two portable 900-watt Havis Shields light towers provide scene lighting.
