The United States Army has taken delivery of eight Crash Rescue Combined Agent Vehicle (CAV) 2400 rapid response Renegade trucks, which are in service at Fort Rucker and Redstone Arsenal in Alabama.
Multiple-agent capabilities of water, water/foam, compressed air foam (CAF) and a 200-pound dry chemical agent system provide exceptional firefighting capability, the company said.

Custom built on Ford F-550 Super Duty 4×4 chassis, the vehicles feature a polypropylene rear body with lifetime warranty, integral 400-gallon water and 50-gallon foam cells, two pre-connected crosslay hose trays and a rear-mounted enclosed twin-agent hose reel.
The front-mounted bumper turret is operated by a single operator while stationary or in pump-and-roll mode. Fully equipped with F.L.I.R. camera/monitor, the CAV 2400 has Whelen LED lighting, R-O-M roll-up doors, a Waterous FoamFill/flush system and top-mounted ladder storage.
The transverse-mounted fire package with a Darley fire pump is powered by an air-cooled Deutz diesel engine. Crash Rescue Equipment Service Inc. is headquartered in Dallas, Texas.
