Raleigh (NC) Fire Department Purchases Four Spartan Pumpers

Spartan Emergency Response, a manufacturer of fire apparatus and subsidiary of REV Group, Inc., announced the Raleigh (NC) Fire Department has selected Spartan and its authorized dealer, Atlantic Coast Fire Trucks, to provide the city with four Spartan Custom Pumpers.

The four city-style custom pumpers feature a 94” wide aluminum cab and body customized to meet the unique needs of the response area and provide a safe work environment for their crew.

Other features of the Custom Pumpers include:

• Smart Wheel Well Storage
• Custom Shelving / Tray Configuration
• 500 Gallon Water Tank
• Waterous CSU 1500 GPM Pump
• Low Hosebed

With Raleigh being the state’s capital and its second largest city, the fire department will use these pumpers as replacement trucks in its fleet as it continues to serve this rapidly growing community.
