The Bedford (IN) Fire Department recently placed its newest apparatus, an E-ONE pumper, in service. According to the department, the top-mount pumper brings the fleet up to date.

The department’s fleet includes four engines and a ladder truck. the new E-ONE replaces a 1992 pumper, which the department has put up for sale.
Specs on the new rig include:
- 2020 E-ONE Typhoon cab and chassis
- Stainless steel body
- 1,500-gpm Hale Qmax pump
- FoamPro 1600 Class A foam system
- 1,000-gallon tank
- 30-gallon foam cell
- Cummins L9 450-hp engine
- Allison 3000 automatic transmission
