The City of Lovington, New Mexico made the following post on its Facebook page recently:
The Lovington Fire Department took delivery of almost three-quarters of a million dollars of equipment yesterday, in the form of a new pumper and a new ambulance.
The pumper, an International, cost $381,930. The Ford ambulance was made by Horton out of Ohio and cost $336,000.
These two additions were funded in part by Lea County and the Fire Protection Fund.
