Lil’wat Nation (Canada) VFD Gets Two New Fire Apparatus Earlier Than Expected

The Lil’wat Nation Volunteer Fire Department received two new fire apparatus recently, and the delivery came earlier than it expected, piquenewsmagazine.com reported. The apparatus were expected to arrive at the end of summer.

The first apparatus – a pumper – arrived Thursday, April 25, followed closely by the second – a brush truck – a day after, according to a Facebook post by Lil-wat Nation.

The fire department is made up entirely of volunteers from Lil’wat Nation. The need for the new apparatus is evident after British Columbia recorded the worst wildfire season on record in 2023, according to the report.
