Hartford (WI) Fire and Rescue Auctioning Off 1996 Pierce Pumper

Hartford Fire and Rescue is auctioning off a 1996 Pierce Lance rescue pumper on the Wisconsin Surplus Auction website through Friday, gmtoday.com reported.

According to a Facebook post from the city, Hartford Fire and Rescue hopes to add a new fire apparatus by early September, and to use any money from the sale of 1996 Pierce to offset the cost of the new fire apparatus.

According to the auction posting, the 1996 pumper has 31,614 miles on it and is in “fair overall condition.”

The highest bid currently is $2,650.
