The Mechanicsville Volunteer Fire Department is thrilled to announce the delivery of its new Pierce pumper, Engine 22, on Tuesday, June 4 by Atlantic Emergency Solutions .
The equipment mounting has begun and will be a collaborative effort between the department’s in-house team and First Due Apparatus Solutions, followed by driver training before being placed in service.
Engine 22 is poised to serve the community for the next 20 years.
