Merrimac (MA) FD Adds First-Ever New Aerial Apparatus

The Merrimac Fire Department added Ladder 22 recently, its third new E-ONE fire apparatus purchased by the town in the last few years, Greenwood Emergency Vehicles said in a Facebook post. This also marks the first time a new aerial apparatus has ever been put into service in the department’s history.

This truck will be in service after all members receive training and the truck has been upfitted with equipment in the coming weeks.

A city official said the total investment from Merrimac was $945,407, newburyportnews.com reported.
