The Jamestown Fire Department took delivery of a new $580,000 rescue truck Wednesday, Sept. 4, and is expected to be in service in October, jamestownsun.com reported.
The truck will replace one that had been in service for about 27 years, a fire official said.
The new rescue truck was made by Rosenbauer America’s plant in Lyons, South Dakota, and Heiman Fire Equipment, Sioux Falls, South Dakota, the report said. The truck was ordered in October 2022.
