IN THE NEWS: Elkhart Brass Opens Test Center

Elkhart Brass has opened a state-of-the-art test facility at its Elkhart, Ind., headquarters, the first of its kind in the industry.

The 7,500 square foot test facility is the result of new products and company growth, according to Elkhart.

“Our new testing facility not only helps ensure we deliver the best and safest waterflow products, but also allows us to continue to design, develop and manufacture innovative solutions and get them to the market faster,” said Don Sjolin, marketing director for Elkhart Brass.

The new facility includes a 2,400 square foot testing booth with over 30 yards of concrete creating a 50-ton backsplash.  It includes a 20,000-gallon holding/re-circulating tank feeding a CMU 2-stage Waterous pump.

“R&D is critical for us to continue to be an innovator in waterflow equipment,” Sjolin said. “The new test facility positions us to keep innovating for years to come.”
