Provo Airport (UT) Gets New Fire Apparatus

The Federal Aviation Administration has awarded a grant to the Provo Airport to be used in purchasing a new fire truck. Known as an ARFF vehicle, the truck will be a significant upgrade to the safety vehicles at the airport.

The project has just been put out to bid, but the desired vehicle is the Striker 4×4 that offers greater fire suppression, control and safety. It features a water tank, foam tank, fire pump and more features that are ready with advanced fire fighting technology.
