The Anarchist Mountain Fire Department had a special evening for its members and area residents recently as it placed not one but two brand new apparatus into service, the department said in a Facebook post.
As with fire service tradition, both new apparatus were pushed into the firehall by AMFD firefighters.
Engine 114 is a Type 5 engine rigged up for rapid response and wildfire structure protection.
Tender 113 is now in service replacing the department’s outdated Tender 112 and becomes the first response tender able to supply much needed water to support engines.
