Ferrara Appoints Dealer and Sales Rep

Ferrara Fire Apparatus has appointed a New York dealer and a factory sales representative for Florida.

Garrison Fire & Rescue Corp. of Palenville, N.Y. has been named Ferrara’s authorized sales and service dealer for eastern New York. Previously, Garrison had represented American LaFrance in the region.

For over 30 years, Garrison Fire & Rescue has been family owned and operated, and it was one of the first fire apparatus dealerships in New York state to offer mobile service capabilities, according to Ferrara.

Garrison’s employees have over 350 years of combined firefighting experience, and its sales force has over 100 combined years of experience.

Chris Ferrara, CEO and founder of Ferrara Fire Apparatus, which is headquartered in Holden, La., said, “Chet and the rest of the team at Garrison Fire & Rescue have an excellent reputation…We look for big things from their company.”

Phil Lincoln has been named Ferrara’s factory sales representative for Florida. He has nearly 25 years experience in apparatus sales, sales management and product development. Originally from Massachusetts, Lincoln has worked in the Florida market for over 10 years.

“We believe that bringing in someone with Phil’s knowledge, experience and reputation will help us to increase our market presence in Florida,” Chris Ferrara said.

Lincoln is taking over the Florida territory from Paul Christiansen, who represented Ferrara in Florida since 2000. Christiansen has relocated to the company’s headquarters in Louisiana to oversee marketing efforts.
