Medtec Ambulance Names General Manager

Medtec Ambulance Corporation, a leading North American manufacturer of custom ambulance vehicles, has named Pete Evans as its general manager Medtec, located in Goshen, Ind., is an Oshkosh Truck Corporation company.

In his position as general manager, Evans oversees all aspects of the company’s manufacturing, operations, finance and new product development.

Prior to joining Medtec, Evans was director of sales and marketing finance for over three years at Pierce Manufacturing, Medtec’s sister company.

Before coming to Pierce, Evans held various finance, marketing and business development positions at Case Corporation and Allied-Signal. “We are excited to have Pete Evans step into this vital role for Medtec Ambulance,” said Mark Meaders, chief operating officer for Medtec. “Pete possesses a tremendous amount of talent and enthusiasm, and his solid manufacturing and financial background will help strengthen Medtec’s position in the ambulance industry.”

Evans holds an MBA degree from Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, Penn., and a BS in Industrial Engineering from the Milwaukee School of Engineering in Milwaukee, Wis.
