Command Light Unveils New Battery-Powered Mobile Light at FDIC

Command Light, a leader in emergency lighting, is unveiling a new battery-powered mobile light at FDIC 2024. With the introduction of its new battery-powered EOS-RDL (Rapid Deploy Light), Command Light continues to elevate mobile scene lighting in the fire industry.

This compact, battery-powered light combines choice of non-proprietary battery (DeWalt® FLEXVOLT, Makita® XGT or Milwaukee® REDLITHIUM) with high-powered LEDs from Akron, FireTech, FRC, Tomar, Whelen or Vision X. The light can also be spec’d with optional shore power, allowing the unit to operate on 115 VAC or 220 VAC power.

Depending on choice of LED, this compact 10.5-inchx9.75-inchx9-inch light packs up to 20,500 lumens in a lightweight design. The EOS weighs as little as 9 pounds and provides up to 272 minutes of run time, depending on battery and fixture selections.

The EOS is the perfect partner to Command Light’s Trident Tripod, which is also powered by the same non-proprietary batteries (including HURST® EWXT/E3™ batteries), or can be spec’d as an AC-powered tripod. Available in a 40- or 50-inch folding design, the Trident Tripod also can be paired with an arrow stick or message bar, converting this mobile light into a traffic advisor, or it can be spec’d with an optional truck mount to secure the tripod to the back of an apparatus to provide easy storage and truck lighting.

Thanks to the EOS’ and Trident’s non-proprietary battery design, both lights were designed to complement you fire department’s other battery-powered tools. Look for the EOS-RDL’s official launch at the Command Light Booth (#3505)!

SUPER VAC PRODUCT FEATURE

Super Vac, one of the leading manufacturers in fire ventilation equipment, will launch its new battery-powered smoke ejector at FDIC 2024. This smoke ejector joins Super Vac’s already-popular battery fan lineup of 16-inch, 18-inch and 20-inch PPVs, all powered by non-proprietary, easy-to-source batteries.

Like Super Vac’s existing battery PPV lineup, this new smoke ejector can be powered by your choice of DeWalt® FLEXVOLT, Makita® XGT, Milwaukee® REDLITHIUM or HURST® EWXT/E3™ batteries. Depending on battery selection, this smoke ejector provides up to 93 minutes of run time. The smoke ejector is also equipped with standard shore power, allowing the unit to operate on 115 VAC or 220 VAC power.

Launching in a 16-inch model, the Super Vac Smoke Ejector weighs just 38 pounds, is 25.5-inchesx18.875-inchesx9.75-inches and features dual carry handles, making the fan easy to position for negative pressure ventilation. Featuring a totally enclosed motor, this variable-speed smoke ejector delivers 6,700 cfm.

Super Vac’s Smoke Ejector can be paired with a number of accessories, making this fan even more versatile. Accessories, like a belt-cuff duct adapter, standard or hazardous location spiral ducts, industrial stands or door bar/fan hanger can help you direct or elevate your airflow. Additionally, the Smoke Ejector can produce mist or foam with our Mountain Mister and Foam Generator accessories, respectively.

ONSCENE SOLUTIONS PRODUCT FEATURE

OnScene Solutions, a manufacturer of apparatus solutions, which includes cargo slides and compartment lights, will feature its newest addition cargo slide addition — a heavy-duty, 1,000-pound-rated transverse toolboard — at FDIC 2024.

This cargo slide offers 70 percent extension for 40-inch to 96-inch-deep pass-through compartments in the fire industry’s only anodized aluminum design. Corrosion resistant, this tranverse toolboard is backed by a lifetime warranty, and unlike other competitor transverse toolboards, OnScene’s toolboard features Urethane wheels (instead of metal rollers on metal glides), allowing for the smooth extension. The transverse tool board features choice of 13-inch internal mount or 16-inch external mount.

This cargo slide joins OnScene’s other latest product additions — Access Pro LED compartment lighting, which delivers a linear neon experience that eliminates LED hotspots without losing light output. The Access Pro creates 400 lumens for every 18-inches of light, while consuming 25% less energy than competing LED compartment lights.

Additionally, OnScene Solutions will display a configurable sliding cargo tray, complete with optional tray separators, adjustable tie-downs and fold-down gates. This anodized aluminum tray can be ordered to fit most any manufacturer cargo slide.
