Tulsa (OK) FD Equips Ladder Truck with New Extrication Tools

Source: Tulsa Fire Department Facebook page.

The Tulsa Fire Department made the following Facebook post Saturday, June 8:

Ladder 22 was recently equipped with the new AMKUS Rescue Systems extrication tools. The tools the department has traditionally used are hydraulic and require the use of a portable generator. The generators are heavy and are tethered to the equipment via hydraulic hoses limiting your mobility and requiring additional personnel for operation.

The new Amkus tools are a great addition to the truck and will allow for extremely rapid deployment during emergencies.
