WATCH | FDNY Battles Bronx Apartment Building Fire; Burst Hose and Mayday at Scene

Three people were injured in a fire in the Mott Haven section of the Bronx Friday morning, Nov. 24.

The flames broke out on East 138th Street around 4:45 a.m. Firefighting was complicated when a hose burst at one point, and a Mayday was called for a firefighter who went missing. He was found safe in one of the apartments.

The victims were all treated at the scene for what appeared to be non-life-threatening injuries. No other injuries were reported. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
