Fire District No. 3 is holding a special vote in late November to request the funds for new firefighting equipment, reports Tap Into.
If approved by the voters of district three, they will enter into a Lease to Buy program, with payment not to exceed $650,000 for the new fire equipment.
According to the district, there will be no impact on the fire district budget that was previously approved by voters in February.
