Two E-ONE Typhoon Pumpers Delivered to Lynn (MA)

The Lynn Fire (MA) Fire Department has taken delivery of two new pumpers. The E-ONE’s replace the department’s oldest pieces: a 2001 rig and a 2000 pumper. According to department representatives, the two new rigs will get the department closer to where it needs to be with its replacement plan.

The department has also announced that it has received $1 million in federal funding to replace another fire apparatus. It also will purchase seven cardiace compressive devices and pay for PPE and cleaning supplies for its COVID-19 responses.

The next fire apparatus to be replaced is a 2001 ladder truck.

  • Typhoon Medium Cab
  • Cummins L9 400-hp/ Allison EVS3000 Automatic Transmission
  • Darley 1,250 gpm Pump
  • FRC FOAMPRO 2002 Foam System
