Athens (TX) Fire Department Dedicates New Fire Apparatus

The Athens Fire Department has taken delivery of a new Pierce Enforcer pumper. The 2008 rig it replaces is being placed in reserve status.

The department held a wet-down ceremony and then housed the new rig. A local priest offered blessings for the firefighters and the new pumper and then sprinkled Holy Water on the outside of the new truck.
