The Clark Mills Fire Department retired its 1993 Chevy Suburban command vehicle last month and replaced it with a 2014 Chevy Tahoe, reports Rome Sentinel.
The pre-planned on-board computer is used to organize mutual aid, or assisting fire departments, but also has information on a location that can help the fire department do it’s job more efficiently.
The vehicle was purchased in Long Island at Red Truck Sales Inc., a dealer of used fire trucks and vehicle equipment.
