The Oklahoma Department of Homeland Security has taken delivery on eight Foster ARU-320T technical rescue trailers for disaster management.

Each trailer is powered by a Lombardini 44-horsepower diesel engine and a Getec 20,000-watt generator. Two hydraulic reels, a Holmatro pump and four Holmatro Core Technology tools provide extrication capability, supported by two utility compressed air reels, and two 26-ton Vetter airbags.

Electrical power distribution is accomplished by a 110-/220-volt reel and multiple outlets on the trailer body. A 7.5 cfm, 5,000 psi American Airworks breathing air compressor, four ASME tanks, and an Eagle Sidewinder two-position SCBA refill station offer complete breathing air support.

Two portable 900-watt Havis Shields light towers provide scene lighting. The trailers will be distributed around the state for rapid disaster deployment, officials said.
