IN THE NEWS: E-ONE New Facility Options

E-ONE, an apparatus builder in Ocala, Fla., is exploring alternative manufacturing sites.

A new facility is part of the company’s long-range vision to manufacture “best in class” reliability of first responder apparatus while advancing its competitive edge in the fire industry, according to E-ONE.

“Recognizing E-One’s history in Ocala and because it is our first choice, we will conduct discussions with local city and state authorities,” said Marc Gustafson, president of E-ONE. “However, we will explore all opportunities to make sure we achieve the best business decision for the company’s employees and shareholders.”

Gustafson added that the appointments of Mike Blouch as vice president of manufacturing and Larry Moore as vice president of corporate business development will prove helpful in the research phase of a new facility.
