Crimson Names Sales & Marketing VP

Longtime firefighter and industry expert William F. Doebler has joined Crimson Fire as sales and marketing vice president.

Doebler joins the senior leadership team of the Brandon, S.D.-based manufacturer of custom fire trucks and other rescue vehicles. Crimson is a subsidiary of Spartan Motors. Doebler is focusing on supporting Crimson’s expanding dealer network, improving the overall sales process, overseeing marketing and training initiatives and working with internal engineering and management groups on new product development.

“He brings an incredible wealth of knowledge about the emergency-rescue industry from his years as a volunteer firefighter and as an equipment dealer,” said Jim Salmi, Crimson Fire president.

Last year, Doebler joined the Spartan organization as market development director for the company’s Emergency Vehicle Team. Since then, he has taken on increasing responsibility.

“We feel his experience, insight, and energy make him the ideal person to lead our sales and marketing effort.

Doebler brings nearly two decades of experience in the fire equipment industry to his position, most recently as factory branch sales manager in New York for KME Fire apparatus.
