Contra Costa County (CA) Fire Pushes In Two New Tillers

Last week, Contra Costa Fire pushed in not one, but two new tillers. Station 92 in Brentwood received a brand new Pierce 100-foot heavy duty tiller, the department said in a Facebook post recently.

This fire truck is capable of a 100-foot vertical reach, can support 1,000-gallons-per-minute at 100 PSI, has 600-hp (horsepower), and has a Cummins X15 engine.

Another new tiller was welcomed into the Contra Costa Fire Station 81 in Antioch. This new truck will serve the communities in battalion eight and nine.
