GRAND COULEE, Washington – Construction work at the Reclamation fire station is near completion and the public is invited to attend an open house set for Tuesday, June 4 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. PDT. The fire station is located at the west gate to the Grand Coulee Power Office industrial area near the intersection of Highway 155 and B Street.

The public is advised to park at Pole Park. Traffic control will be available to safely guide citizens across the highway to the fire station. Handicap accessible parking is available at the fire station parking lot.

The 22,000-square-foot facility provides space for vehicle and equipment storage, along with separate crew areas for sleeping and dining, meeting/training rooms, offices, and a public reception area. The completion of the fire station will help ensure reliable protection for the Reclamation facilities and lands and assist local communities and other agencies through mutual-aid agreements.
