Kern County (CA) FD’s Shafter Station Gets First New Pumper Since 2009

SHAFTER, California, Monday, Dec. 11 — City of Shafter and County of Kern Officials joined together with Kern County firefighters to welcome Station 32’s new pumper. The new pumper, loaded with new tools, was thoroughly examined before it was pushed into the engine bay by the excited group that had gathered. Some on hand have served their community long enough to enjoy this experience for the second time, having welcomed the last new pumper in 2009.
