PRESS RELEASE

Gresham Fire is so excited to announce the arrival of its newest apparatus: Aerial Tiller.

Over the course of this four-year project several people have contributed to this moment. Thank you!

The Tiller is not in-service until the fall while we train our personnel on its capabilities. However, you may see it around the city doing training.

The new rig is 61-feet long and will operate out of the flagship Station 71, next to City Hall, theoutlookonline.com reported.

It will serve as the main rig within the fleet when it comes to extricating victims, ventilating smoke and fire gases, forcing entry, search and rescue, overhead suppression, and many other important tasks, the report said.
