PRESS RELEASE
On July 25 Lisburn Community Fire Company engine 24 was involved in a head-on accident while heading to training. Our crew was not hurt and the driver of the other vehicle was transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Investigation is underway but doesn’t appear that our engine was at fault. Our mini-pumper was in front of the engine at the time and our crew jumped in to help with patient care, and clean up. Thank you to the the other first responders that came to help.
