Kochek Is A Leader In LDH And Suction Hose

For more than 20 years, Kochek Company, based in Putnam, Conn., has manufactured American-made specialty fire equipment, including large diameter hose (LDH) supply line and PVC suction hose for the firefighting market.

Kochek’s LDH line is available in tough, highly resistant synthetic nitrile rubber or heavy-duty, yet lightweight, thermoplastic-lined double jacket. The highly abrasion-resistant, through-the-weave hoses are made without adhesives or glues and meet or exceed all National Fire Protection Association requirements.

The supply line comes with forged Storz or extruded aluminum threaded couplings with re-attachable bindings and is available in 100-, 50-, and 25-foot lengths standard. The hose is standard hi-visibility yellow and other colors are available on request.

Kochek’s PVC suction hose has clear webbing that allows for visual monitoring while the specially-enhanced ribbing eliminates any collapsing, according to Kochek.

Strength and durability are provided by low-profile, high-strength, flexible polymer collars, simple and efficient two-bolt connections, and new exclusive interlock system, according to the manufacturer.
