Eagle Compressors, Inc., has introduced what it describes as its most powerful breathing air cylinder fill system, the EagleAir RAPTOR. The compact, single-appliance product is designed to re-fill self-contained breathing apparatus (SCBA) cylinders at a level of performance expected of much larger systems. The RAPTOR compressor has charging rate capacities ranging from 6 to 14 cfm in a two-position containment fill station. Control panel indicators and controls grouped by function to safely guide the operator, and the balanced access door and cylinder access sleeves tilt effortlessly for loading and unloading, according to the Greensboro, N.C., company. An integral reel option includes a retractable reel with 50 feet of hose located at the center of the appliance, a dedicated and readily accessible reel air control panel, plus an additional optional 50 feet of hose in its own compartment.
