Onspot Expands Facility  

In an attempt to keep up with the increased demand for its automatic tire chain systems, Onspot of North America, Inc. is expanding its manufacturing plant located in North Vernon, Ind., for a second time in five years, announced Onspot’s President Patrick Freyer.

“We are not only adding to the building, we are purchasing a second plasma machine which cuts out the major components of the Onspot system,” Freyer said.  

Onspot chain systems are currently available from over 150 original equipment manufacturers as a factory option and from over 900 dealers throughout North America.

The product allows the operator to engage and disengage tire chains with the flip of a switch, without stopping, to enhance traction in snow and ice, in forward or reverse.

Onspots can be adapted to most trucks from half ton to Class 8 trucks and trailers.
